PARENT TEACHER STUDENT ASSOCIATION (PTSA)
Close cooperation between the home and school is essential to promote the best interests of the child. Parents are encouraged to visit school and to attend scheduled meetings of the PTSA. A meaningful exchange of information between home and school produces mutual benefits.
Below is a list of the 2007-2008 officers and executive board members of our PTSA. We encourage all parents to join.

Upcoming Events & Meetings:
Regular PTSA Meetings
Everyone is invited to attend our monthly PTSA meetings. Held on the first Wednesday of each month in the school library, 7pm, unless otherwise stated. Be informed about your school. Better yet, get involved. The more the merrier, and the more we can achieve.

You can be of great assistance in helping us achieve our goals. The development of this trusting and helping relationship will be of great value to your children. Our programs can be improved with parental support. Your input is also needed in the development of school-related events.
Areas Where We Need You!
After School Enrichment Program - We need a new chairperson to run the program, someone with fresh ideas and strong leadership skills. It's a great opportunity to get to know everyone in the school!
We also need ideas for classes and welcome you to teach one (you receive a free class for your child & 1 st priority for sign-up).
Holiday Shop - Come help the kids pick out presents and count their money; we need candy/ baked goods donations; help with final inventory.
We need someone to take over organizing of this event next year.
Outreach Program - This is a great program where we help kids attend summer enrichment programs at schools in the area. Need ideas/ recommendations.
Membership Drive - Please encourage a friend to join the PTSA; we also need ideas for holding a special gathering to increase membership.
Meeting Topics - Do you have topic of discussion for an upcoming meeting? Have any ideas for a guest speaker? Let us know!
