Petitions nominating candidates for the office of member of the Board of Education available
Petitions nominating candidates for the office of member of the Board of Education will be available beginning March 22, 2021. You may request a petition be mailed, emailed or you may schedule an appointment to pick one up in the District Clerk's office by calling 518-734-3400, ext. 1129 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Completed petitions will be accepted by appointment, beginning April 6, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., at the District Clerk's Office of Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School District and not later than 5:00 p.m. on April 19, 2021.
The following vacancy will be filled: Member of the Board of Education for a period of five years to succeed Dr. Teri Martin, whose term expires. Each petition must be signed by at least twenty five qualified voters, must state the name and residence of the candidate; and must describe the length of the term of office and the name of the last incumbent.
