Education:

Experience:

Student Teaching:  Kingson High School 1989

Taught Biology part time in Kingston High Scool for 1 year 1990

Worked in the Organic Chemistry dept of Envirotest Labs in Newburgh NY from 1990 until 1995

Mr. Pelham taught Earth Science and Chemistry in the Cairo-Duham school district for 9 years from 1995 through 2003.  He then taught Earth Science, Chemistry and Environmental Science for 2 years in the Hunter-Tannersville school district before moving to WAJ in 2006.  In addition to the Earth Science, Chemistry, and Physics, Mr. Pelham also teaches a college level Geology course at WAJ.

 

Bio:

Mr. Pelham grew up on the Mountain Top - attending WAJ from Kindergarten through the 12th grade, and filling in his spare time, hunting, fishing and trapping in the area.  After finishing college and living/working in the Hudson Valley for a number of years, he returned to the area in 1995 to teach.  He purchased land and built a house in Ashland at that time and has been living there with his wife, daughter and son ever since.
